2021-2022 Annual Report Pillars Ka Pou Whakahou

The Annual Report covers our mahi throughout the year, an overview of our programmes, an introduction to our board and stories from our community.

We are proud to share our 2021-2022 Annual Report.

In the last twelve months, our Pillars Ka Pou Whakahou Village of Support has rallied together to support whānau impacted by a family members involvement with Ara Poutama (The Department of Corrections).

As an organisation, Pillars Ka Pou Whakahou has welcomed new board members, staff, and community partners and sponsors, making our mahi throughout Covid-19 and beyond possible. Without the support of our community, we could not walk alongside our families and children, supporting them to create positive futures for themselves. Thank you.

We have had an exciting year! With a new Youth Advisory Panel established, a parenting programme launched, a visit from the Parliament of Victoria and many mentoring events for tamariki. Thank you to our volunteer mentors for all the effort they have put in this year and everyone who has made our mahi possible.

To our donors who support our campaigns and mahi and those who listen to the voices of our tamariki. Thank you for your support this year. We are so grateful that you share in our belief that children of people in prison are children of promise and potential.
